Semi-evergreen hardy perennial. Small white pink flowers in summer. The leaves are dark green, linear and very aromatic. It combines well with vegetable and rich meats. It stimulate the appetite and aids digestion. The flavour is hot and peppery, and so should be used sparingly in salads.
