Hyssop is an attractive plant which likes to be planted in conditions
similar to rosemary or thyme, a well drained soil in a sunny position. As
all parts of the plant are pleasantly aromatic and the flowers very
attractive, plant it where it can be seen and brushed against. The flowers
are also attractive to bees and butterflies. The slightly bitter leaves
are finely chopped on salads, meats, soups and stews. Essential oil used
in perfumery. Flowers from pink to blue.
