Hardy / perennial / medicinal plant/ seeds need 20-30 days for germination / H. up to 60cm/ sun to shade / well drained humus rich soil / blossom colour white yellow / flowering time 7, 8
A member of the daisy family. It has undergone a great deal of research since the 1970s, and has proved an effective and relatively safe remedy in many cases of migraine and rheumatism. Insecticides based on pyrethrums were first made from the flower. Grow in well-drained to dry, stony soil in sun. Propagate by seed sown in spring or autumn.
