A member of the daisy family. It has undergone a great deal of research
since the 1970s, and has proved an effective and relatively safe remedy in
many cases of migraine and rheumatism. Insecticides based on pyrethrums
were first made from the flower. Grow in well-drained to dry, stony soil
in sun. Propagate by seed sown in spring or autumn.
