Tight clusters of fragrant, tubular flowers produced on stout stems in
spring. Leaves oval-shaped and mid-green, form a neat clump. Use leaves in
salads and for meat stuffing, use flowers in wine and salads. Tea made
from any part of the plant was once a common remedy for pain and insomnia.
