Well-drained soil in half shade is best. Propagate by seed sown in spring. Young plants are ready for cutting after 6-8 weeks. Chervil is one of the 'fines herbes' of the French cuisine. Can be used like Parsley, the flavour is a bit similar with a hint of anise.
